There are certain moments in time when everything can change in the blink of an eye. We wake up every day faced with decisions. Some can be difficult, others less so. The majority of them are fairly simple and most are relatively unimportant. They exist as a way to navigate through our day to day...but every once in a while one comes along, maybe something as simple as a yes or no choice, but a decision comes along that can define and shape who we are and that carries the momentum to alter the course of our lives.
It was seven years ago today that I made one of the best decisions of my life. Seven years ago today I kissed the beautiful woman standing in front of me, one of my dearest friends, and our lives were wonderfully and forever changed!
I oft tend to play things safe, it might have been awkward...or worse, but something told me it was the right thing to do and so I did. Sarah and I shared our first kiss; the kiss above shared about nine months later.
I'm not normally one to go around tooting my own horn but well done me...and to my lovely wife (who chose to actually let me kiss her and not slug me), I have been thankful every day since that you said yes. That singular decision has changed our lives forever, and wonderfully.
